It’s not clear yet whether Rizzo will sign an ELC or return to the University of Denver.
Kase spent each of the last two seasons with Sparta Praha of the Czech League. In 25 games this past season with the club, he posted six goals to go along with 14 points. With this move, he will need to join the Hurricanes if he hopes to resume his professional career in North America. In seven games as a Flyer, Kase had one goal.
Kase's brother, Ondrej Kase, appeared in one game with the Hurricanes this past season before missing the rest of the year due to concussion symptoms. They both are currently on HC Litvinov for the 2023-24 season.
Rizzo, on the other hand, spent this past season with the University of Denver, where he posted 17 goals to go along with 46 points in 38 games played. It has not been confirmed yet if he plans to play another season in college or sign an entry-level deal.
