Golden Knights Rumors: Latest on Jonathan Marchessault Trade Talk

According to SinBin.Vegas' Jason Pothier, the Vegas Golden Knights are not shopping Jonathan Marchessault, even with extension talks between the club and the winger not starting.

Marchessault recently saw his name come up in the rumor mill this past week, but according to Pothier's latest report, the Golden Knights are not looking to move the 32-year-old forward at this time. Due to this, extension talks between the two parties could start shortly.

Marchessault appeared in 76 games this past season with the Golden Knights, where he had 28 goals to go along with 57 points. A solid season, yes, but Marchessault was at his best during the playoffs, posting 13 goals and 25 points in 22 games. He also won the Conn Smythe Award.

Alas, although Marchessault's trade value is at its highest after his heroic postseason, it seems unlikely that the Golden Knights will move him before the start of the campaign given this latest report.
