Golden Knights Star Mark Stone's Awesome Stanley Cup Final Story

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Vegas Golden Knights star forward and captain Mark Stone said that he suffered a fractured wrist during the final game of the Stanley Cup Final. He played through it and scored a hat trick.

This is an awesome story and makes Stone's hat trick in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final even more impressive. The 31-year-old winger also had two back surgeries just nine months apart from each other, so there is no question that he has been through a lot when it comes to injuries. Yet, he still proved to be effective, and his hat trick with a broken wrist only adds to that.

It is important to note that Stone is expected to be ready to go for training camp next month.

Stone was one of the Golden Knights' top postseason performers, too, as he had 11 goals to go along with 24 points in 22 games. He will now be looking to build off of it during the 2023-24 season.
