Hurricanes Rumors: 2 Possible Landing Spots for Brady Skjei

The Carolina Hurricanes have a surplus of defensemen on their roster. Due to this and his expiring contract, Brady Skjei has picked up some steam in the rumor mill as of late. Let's discuss two teams who could consider making a push for him now.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are looking to build off their solid 2022-23 season. One area that they need to improve is the left side of their defensive group, so it would make sense for them to try to add Skjei. He would fit well in their top four and be a solid contributor to both of their special team units if acquired. Thus, don't be surprised if they are among the teams connected to him this season.

Buffalo Sabres: The Buffalo Sabres also stand out as another possible landing spot for Skjei. Although they added to their defensive group this offseason, they would benefit adding one more top-four defenseman before the start of the season. Skjei would be a nice addition to their second pairing and give them a bit more stability on the backend if added.
