New York Islanders Rumors: 2 Possible Landing Spots for Ross Johnston

New York Islanders forward Ross Johnston has seen his name enter the rumor mill, and it is understandable. The Islanders are heading into the season with the same fourth line, and Johnston is likely to continue to be an extra forward because of it. Thus, let's talk about two teams who could consider adding him.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings could consider making a push for Johnston. They lost Zack MacEwen in free agency to the Ottawa Senators, and Johnston would give them the toughness that they lost from it. Furthermore, the Kings could use another option for their bottom six, as it is essential for playoff teams to have good forward depth.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators are also in a position to add to their bottom six before the start of the season. This is an area that could use a bit more depth, and Johnston would give them just that if acquired. Furthermore, the Predators could use more toughness after parting ways with Tanner Jeannot at last season's trade deadline.
