NHL Rumors: 2 Possible Free-Agent Destinations for Nick Ritchie

Nick Ritchie remains without a home as we inch closer to September. When noting that he is a solid bottom-six forward who provides grit, there should be a team out there willing to give him a PTO at a minimum. Let's discuss two clubs who could consider signing him now.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators lost some toughness earlier this offseason by not bringing back Austin Watson. Bringing in a player like Ritchie would be a nice way to fix that. He would fit on their third or fourth line if signed and also would be a candidate for power-play time due to his strong net-front presence ability.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings could also make sense as a possible landing spot for Ritchie this season. They could use some more competition in their bottom six at training camp, and Ritchie could be a nice addition to their fourth line if signed.
