NHL Rumors: 2 Possible Free-Agent Destinations for Max Comtois

Max Comtois is still looking for his new home as we enter the deeper stages of the NHL offseason. When noting that he is a young forward with past success, there should be a team out there willing to take a chance on him with a one-year deal. Let's go over two clubs that could be in the mix.

New York Islanders: The New York Islanders are exactly the kind of team who could take a shot on Comtois. They are in need of another bottom-six forward before the start of the season when looking at their current group. Comtois could fit on their third line if he regains his previous form and would provide them with a nice mixture of offensive production and grit.

Vancouver Canucks: The Vancouver Canucks have been connected to Comtois this offseason, so they certainly should not be ruled out. Like the Islanders, adding to their bottom six before the start of the season should be in their plans, so look for them to make a push for Comtois before we get into the 2023-24 season.
