NHL Rumors: 2 Possible Free-Agent Destinations for Nick Holden

Nick Holden has yet to find a new home but when noting that he is a solid bottom-pairing defenseman, that has the potential to change before Opening Night. Due to this, let's go over two clubs who could consider signing Holden.

Anaheim Ducks: The Anaheim Ducks stand out as a team who could bring in Holden. Keep in mind, they have a good chunk of cap space, and the left side of their defensive group could use some improvement. If Holden were to sign there, he would immediately be a fit for their second or third pairing. With that, he would be a nice leader to have in the locker room due to his plethora of NHL experience.

Chicago Blackhawks: The Chicago Blackhawks would also be wise to add another left-shot defenseman to their group before the start of the season. Holden would be a good option for their club, as he would give them a much-needed defensive defenseman. He also would be a key contributor to their penalty kill because of his defensive play.
