NHL Rumors: 2 Possible Landing Spots for Josh Bailey
Josh Bailey is one of the most recognizable names still available on the free-agent market. The veteran winger is hoping to find a home before the start of the year. When noting that he can still produce decent offense in a third-line role, there should be some teams willing to take a shot on him. Let's discuss two possible landing spots for him now.
Minnesota Wild: The Minnesota Wild need more depth on the wing. When noting that Bailey can play both sides, he could be a player who the Wild take a look at. He would fit nicely on their third line and on their second power-play unit. On a cheap one-year deal, it could be an avenue worth exploring.
Tampa Bay Lightning: The Tampa Bay Lightning would be wise to add another depth forward to their group before the start of the year. Due to this, they could consider taking a chance on Bailey. It is also possible that Bailey would be open to playing there, as the Lightning are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
