NHL Rumors: 2 Potential Free-Agent Destinations for Colin White
Colin White is one of the more recognizable free-agent forwards still on the market. Although he is coming off of a down season with the Florida Panthers, there should be a team out there willing to take a chance on him due to his past success. Let's discuss two teams who could do just that.
New York Rangers: The New York Rangers have been connected to White this offseason. They would benefit from adding another bottom-six forward to their group, and White would give them just that. With that, he would be a candidate to see time on their power play if he were to have a bounce-back season in 2023-24.
Boston Bruins: The Boston Bruins need forward depth badly but also have limited cap space. Due to this, they could consider bringing in White on a league-minimum deal. White is also from Massachusetts, so playing for his hometown team could also intrigue him. Similar to the Rangers, he would likely be a good fit on the Bruins' third or fourth line if signed.
We will need to wait and see if either of these teams sign White before the start of the season from here.
