Sharks Rumors: Logan Couture Discusses Future In San Jose

After trading Erik Karlsson, many have wondered if star center Logan Couture could be the next player moved out. However, Couture has put an end to all of that speculation, as he recently told reporters that he wants to "turn this thing around" and stay with the Sharks.

With this development, it is clear that Couture has a lot of confidence in the Sharks' rebuild. Although several teams around the league would love to add him to their top six, that appears to be very unlikely to happen. Couture has plenty of trade protection, as he only has a three-team trade list.

Couture feels that the Sharks' rebuild can be a fast one, and it will be interesting to see if San Jose can get better quickly.

Couture appeared in 82 games this past season for the Sharks, where he posted 27 goals to go along with 67 points. Overall, it was another good year from the 34-year-old center, so let's see if he can replicate similar production in 2023-24 from here.
