3 Anaheim Ducks Captain Candidates

At the time of this writing, there are nine teams currently without captains for the 2023-24 season. As a result of this, over the next few days, we here at NHLTR will be starting a mini-series going over three captain candidates for each of these clubs. 

In this first edition of the series, let's look at the Anaheim Ducks. 

Trevor Zegras: Trevor Zegras is somebody who the Ducks plan to build their future around. The young forward has already emerged as a star in his young career and is a big-name in the sport, so he surely will be in the running for the C.

Troy Terry: Troy Terry is another Ducks forward who has improved significantly over the last few seasons. He also committed to the Ducks for seven more seasons this summer, and that should lead him to get consideration for the captaincy. 

Cam Fowler: Cam Fowler has been with the Ducks throughout the entirety of his 13-year and 893-game NHL career. Due to this, he also stands out as a possible captain candidate. If the Ducks want to wait a bit before giving Zegras or Terry the 'C,' Fowler could be a good short-term option.
