3 Seattle Kraken Captain Candidates
At the time of this writing, there are eight teams currently without captains for the 2023-24 season. As a result of this, over the next few days, we here at NHLTR will be starting a mini-series going over three captain candidates for each of these clubs.
In this latest edition of the series, the Seattle Kraken will be focused on.
Vince Dunn: Fresh off a 14-goal and 64-point season, Vince Dunn earned a four-year, $29.4 million contract. With this deal, Dunn has cemented himself as a long-term part of the Kraken's core. He is their top defenseman and growing as a leader, so don't be shocked if he becomes their next captain.
Adam Larsson: Adam Larsson is another Kraken defenseman who will get consideration for the C. He has plenty of NHL experience and has been an alternate captain with the Kraken for a while. Therefore, just like Dunn, he's a notable captain candidate.
Jared McCann: Jared McCann also should be considered for the captaincy after his breakout season. In 79 games last season, he had 40 goals and 70 points, emerging as Seattle's top forward.
