Anaheim Ducks: Best Addition & Worst Subtraction of 2023 Offseason

The 2023-24 regular season is rapidly approaching, much to the delight of hockey fans. Due to this, we here at NHLTR are starting a series going over each team's best addition and worst subtraction of the summer.

In this latest edition of the series, let's focus on the Anaheim Ducks.

Best Addition: Alex Killorn

Alex Killorn is clearly the Ducks' top addition of the offseason. The skilled winger is a two-time Stanley Cup champion who is still a quality top-six forward at this point of his career. He is also going to be a great mentor for the team's younger players as they try to move forward from their rebuild.

Worst Subtraction: Kevin Shattenkirk

The Ducks did not lose too many players of significance this offseason. Yet, one player who they could miss is Kevin Shattenkirk. He was a nice veteran to have around and still was putting up decent offensive totals during the final stages of his tenure with the club.
