Arizona Coyotes Sign 2 Players to PTOs

The Arizona Coyotes have signed forward Ryan Dzingel and defenseman Peter Diliberatore to professional tryout (PTO) contracts.

Dzingel, 31, is a familiar face to the Coyotes, as he played for them for part of the 2021-22 season. In 26 games with the Yotes that season, he posted four goals and seven points. He played last season for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL, recording two goals and 11 points.

Dzingel will be hoping to land a contract from the Coyotes. He has had past success in the league, so with a strong camp, perhaps he could get some consideration for a bottom-six role on the Coyotes. In 404 career NHL games, he has 87 goals and 188 points.

Dilberatore, 23, is a left-shot defenseman who has not appeared in an NHL game at this point of his career. He should be in the running for a job on the Tucson Roadrunners, but he will need to impress at camp to earn a contract. In eight games last season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, he had two goals.
