Mike Babcock Being Investigated For Bizarre Behavior
He hasn't even coached his first game yet for the Columbus Blue Jackets, but new bench boss Mike Babcock is already under heavy fire for a bizarre revelation that has an NHLPA investigation underway.
According to the report dropped today by the Spittin' Chiclets podcast, Babcock has been allegedly asking various Blue Jackets players to see the photos on their phones and then streaming them to his office TV in an attempt to see "the type of person they are."

Captain Boone Jenner was apparently the first one called in to have this insane Babcock ritual conducted.
The Blue Jackets are aware of the allegations and are looking into them in addition to the players association investigation.
Lest anyone doubts the story, the well-connected Paul Bissonnette has confirmed he's received texts from insiders confirming his report’s veracity.

"100% true" reads one text, while noting that the embattled coach also did the same in Toronto when he coached the Maple Leafs.
If you had Babcock confiscating his players' phones and snooping on their photos on your bingo card, you win. Babcock, however, is on the losing end of this report, and we'll undoubtedly be hearing a lot more about this in the days to come.
