Canadiens Provide Injury Update for Christian Dvorak
Montreal Canadiens general manager (GM) Kent Hughes has provided an injury update regarding center Christian Dvorak. Per Hughes, Dvorak will not make his 2023-24 season debut until at least November.
Dvorak, 27, is still recovering from knee surgery that he received back in March. He was expected to be ready for the start of the season, but with this development, it is clear that he is behind schedule with his recovery.
Dvorak appeared in 64 games last season, where he had 10 goals to go along with 28 points and a minus-12 rating. Overall, it was a bit of a down year for the Illinois native, and he will be looking to bounce back in 2023-24. Yet, he will now need to wait until at least November to get that objective started.
Here's to hoping that Dvorak's recovery starts to go more swimmingly from here and that he has a strong season once he is good to go.
