Canucks Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Tyler Myers

The Vancouver Canucks have been looking to move Tyler Myers all offseason. Although they have not had any takers yet, things could change on that front. Let’s talk about two clubs who could consider bringing in the veteran defenseman now.

San Jose Sharks: The San Jose Sharks could use another right-shot defenseman before the start of this season. This was even the case before they traded star defenseman Erik Karlsson. If acquired, Myers would give them another leader on their roster and he would be a nice fit in their top four. It also would be worthwhile if taking on his contract gives them a sweetener or two.

Anaheim Ducks: Another rebuilding team with cap space to work with is the Anaheim Ducks. If they were to land a prospect or draft pick for taking on his contract, it could be a move worth making. He also would be a nice addition to their right side and a key addition to their penalty kill.
