Coyotes Rumors: 2 Free-Agent Additions Could Be Moved This Season
The Arizona Coyotes had a busy offseason, adding several players to their group. Yet, there's a good chance that Matt Dumba and Jason Zucker's time there may not be long. In a recent article for The Fourth Period, David Pagnotta wrote that Dumba and Zucker could be moved before the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline passes.

Dumba and Zucker both inked one-year deals with the Coyotes and will be eligible to be UFAs yet again next summer because of it. Thus, if the Coyotes are once again near the bottom of the NHL standings, it would make plenty of sense for the club to move them as rentals.
Dumba, 29, appeared in 79 games last season with the Minnesota Wild, posting four goals and 14 points. It was a down year for him, but when noting that he will see top-pairing minutes with Arizona, a bounce-back season should be in order.
As for Zucker, he is a quality second-line winger who contenders would love to get their hands on before the playoffs. In 78 games last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, he had 27 goals and 48 points.
