Flyers Rumors: Carter Hart Trade Talk Heating Up

Philadelphia Flyers goalie Carter Hart is continuing to generate trade buzz. In a recent article for The Fourth Period, David Pagnotta listed him as a player to watch from now until the 2023-24 trade deadline.

Pagnotta reported that the Flyers had trade talks with other clubs about Hart during the beginning of the offseason and that they are willing to trade him for the right price. Yet, he also noted that a trade is unlikely to occur during the beginning of the season and may not until even the end of the year.

Hart, 25, would get the Flyers a pretty big return, as he is a young goalie with a lot of potential. He is coming off a solid season that saw him sport a 22-23-0 record, .907 SV%, and 2.94 GAA. These numbers are decent but on a team with a better defensive group, his play would likely improve.

We will need to wait and see if the Flyers end up moving Hart during this season from here.
