Tampa Bay Lightning: The Tampa Bay Lightning would be wise to add another goalie to their depth chart. The backup role is up for grabs, and Halak would potentially give them an upgrade if signed. Although he is no longer a legitimate starter, he would be a decent option to have around to give netminder Andrei Vasilevskiy some games off.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings could also look to bring in Halak for some insurance.
