Noah Gregor Signs PTO With Atlantic Team
The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed Noah Gregor to a professional tryout (PTO) contract.
Gregor, 25, spent last season with the San Jose Sharks, posting 10 goals to go along with 17 points in 57 games. He also made an impact when it came to his physicality, as his 97 hits on the year effectively display.
Although Gregor had a decent season in a bottom-six role, the Sharks opted not to bring him back. After being unable to find a new home all summer, Gregor will now be hoping to earn a deal from the Maple Leafs with a strong training camp.
There is no harm in the Maple Leafs taking a shot on Gregor. He would be a decent addition to their bottom six if he earns a deal, but let's see if he does just that front here.
