Sabres Rumors: 2 Possible Landing Spots for Victor Olofsson

The Buffalo Sabres have been shopping Victor Olofsson this offseason, but at the time of this writing, a move has not come to fruition. However, when noting that he is a solid middle-six winger who is a scorer, things on that front could change. Let’s discuss two possible landing spots for him because of it.

New York Islanders: An ongoing issue for the New York Islanders has been their scoring woes. They were in on the Alex DeBrincat sweepstakes before his move to the Detroit Red Wings because of it. Although Olofsson is not a star like DeBrincat, he would still give the Islanders a much-needed sniper if acquired.

Chicago Blackhawks: The Chicago Blackhawks have been aggressive this offseason, even with their current rebuild. It is understandable, however, as they need to get Connor Bedard support for his development. Due to this, perhaps adding a player like Olofsson could be in the cards. He would fit into their top six and be a nice addition to their power play.
