3 Free-Agent Forwards Who Should Get Signed During 2023-24

Although the 2023-24 season is here, there are still some free-agent forwards who should find new homes during it. Let’s discuss three of them who could get signed soon.

Phil Kessel: Phil Kessel is another big-name free agent who has a good chance of being signed this season. When injuries inevitably pick up, teams needing some scoring depth could consider bringing in the three-time Stanley Cup champ.

Danton Heinen: Danton Heinen has not officially been released from his PTO with the Boston Bruins, and it seems quite possible that a deal could happen between the player and the club. If not, he should get a deal elsewhere, as he is a serviceable bottom-six forward.
