Blackhawks Rumors: 3 Players Available for Trade

In a recent Off The Record column, Jimmy Murphy reported that an NHL executive told him that Tyler Johnson, Jarred Tinordi, and Nikita Zaitsev names are out there in the trade market.

Johnson is the most notable name of this trio, as he is still a decent middle-six winger who produces well offensively. He is in the final season of his contract and surely should get some interest from teams looking to add to their depth. He is also off to a hot start this season, posting three goals in his first four games.

Tinordi may not be a star, but he also could get interest from clubs. On a playoff team, he would likely serve as a depth defenseman who provides some toughness when inserted into the lineup.

As for Zaitsev, if the Blackhawks retain salary, he could also get some consideration from teams looking to add to the right side of their defensive group.

It will be interesting to see if any of these three get traded during this season, but they are now names to watch from here.
