Boston Bruins: 3 Trade Targets for 2023-24 Season

The 2023-24 season is almost here. As a result, we here at NHLTR are starting a series discussing three trade targets that each team should consider pursuing during the campaign.

In this latest edition of the series, let’s look at the Boston Bruins.

Mark Scheifele: Mark Scheifele was linked to the Bruins all summer, but a move did not come to fruition. However, with the Bruins desperately needing a star center, they certainly could look toward acquiring him as we get closer to the deadline if the Winnipeg Jets do not have him extended and are out of the playoff race.

Elias Lindholm: If Elias Lindholm does not agree to an extension with the Calgary Flames by the deadline, he could also be an intriguing trade target for the Bruins. He also was a player connected to the Bruins this offseason, and he would be a nice replacement for Patrice Bergeron because of his strong two-way play.

Noah Hanifin: The Bruins were also interested in Noah Hanifin this summer, so he certainly could be somebody who they circle on again at the deadline. The Massachusetts native would be a nice addition to their top four, and he would make their strong defensive group even better.
