Dallas Stars: Best Addition & Worst Subtraction of 2023 Offseason

The 2023-24 regular season is rapidly approaching, much to the delight of hockey fans. Due to this, we here at NHLTR are starting a series going over each team's best addition and worst subtraction of the summer.

Next up in our series is the Dallas Stars.

Best Addition: Matt Duchene

The Stars made a big addition in free agency, signing Matt Duchene to a bargain one-year, $3 million. With this move, they added another top-six forward to their group at a cheap price. Duchene will be looking to have a strong season and should fit in nicely playing with star players like Jason Robertson, Roope Hintz, Joe Pavelski, and Jamie Benn.

Worst Subtraction: Max Domi

Although the Stars found a great replacement for him in Duchene, Max Domi is still the most notable subtraction from the Stars this offseason. He was a decent addition to the Stars' roster, as he provided solid offense to go along with some grit.
