Denis Gurianov & Several Others Placed On Waivers

The regular season is almost here, and NHL teams are trimming their rosters because of it. Here is who hit the waiver wire today (Oct. 7):
Denis Gurianov should get some attention on the waiver wire. He is a former first-rounder who has scored 20 goals in a season before.

Chris Driedger is an interesting goalie to see on waivers. The Seattle Kraken signed him before their inaugural season and expected him to be a 1B goalie for them. Instead, inconsistent play and injury trouble has resulted in him becoming their third-string goalie. His $3.5 million cap hit will not lead to teams claiming him.

Jakub Zboril is another interesting name to see on waivers. He was one of the Bruins' first-round picks from the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, but he never blossomed into his potential.

Riley Stillman could get some consideration from teams, as he can serve as a solid seventh defenseman.

We will need to wait and see if any of these players get claimed from here.
