Flyers Rumors: Morgan Frost Trade Talk Picking Up Steam

After inking a two-year, $4.2 million contract with the Philadelphia Flyers this offseason, Morgan Frost has been a healthy scratch multiple times this season already. Due to this, he is starting to pick up more steam in the rumor mill, and a trade could be in the cards.

This is not the first time where Frost's future in Philly has been in question. Per The Fourth Period, the Flyers shopped Frost during the offseason, and the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators were two clubs interested in him. With that, TFP noted that some teams have expressed interest in Frost recently.

Frost is coming off a career year, posting 19 goals an 46 points in 81 games played. However, although he took a big step forward in 2022-23, that has not stopped him from entering John Tortorella's dog house. Thus, if these healthy scratches continue, perhaps it would be best for both the player and the team to move on.

We will need to wait and see if Frost ends up being moved soon.
