Maple Leafs' Jake McCabe Leaves Game After One Shift
Although the Toronto Maple Leafs got a big win against the Dallas Stars last night (Oct. 26), it did not come without consequence. Defenseman Jake McCabe left the game early after suffering a lower-body injury.
McCabe only played 10 seconds during the game, as he suffered his injury very early on in his first shift. Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe also told the media after the game that McCabe may not play in the Maple Leafs' next game.
McCabe has appeared in seven games so far this season with the Maple Leafs, where he has zero points, 12 hits, and a minus-4 rating. It has been a slow start to the season, and this injury does not help things at all.
Let's see how long McCabe ends up missing from here.
