Minnesota Wild Sign Ryan Hartman to Extension

The Minnesota Wild have signed Ryan Hartman to a three-year, $12 million contract extension.

Reports surfaced that the Wild have been working on an extension with Hartman, and now it has officially come to fruition. This marks the third notable forward who the Wild have inked to extensions, as they recently also did with Mats Zuccarello and Marcus Foligno.

Hartman has emerged as a key part of the Wild's roster over the years, so it makes sense that they have decided to keep him around. His offensive production has improved over the years, too, and he has emerged as a key part of their top six because of it.

Hartman appeared in 59 games last season for the Wild, posting 15 goals, 37 points, and 62 hits. During the previous season, he also had a 69-point campaign in 82 games.

Nevertheless, Wild GM Bill Guerin is staying busy with this Hartman extension. Let's see what is next in store for the Wild.
