Minnesota Wild's Matt Boldy to Miss Time
The Minnesota Wild have been dealt some brutal injury news. Per Wild general manager (GM) Bill Guerin, winger Matt Boldy will be out week-to-week because of an upper-body injury.
Boldy is one of the Wild's top players, so this is certainly far from good news. The 22-year-old forward has been off to a solid start in 2022-23, as he has one goal and one assist in two games. However, his hot start will now have to be put on pause because of this unfortunate injury.
The Wild already have dealt with one notable player out of the lineup, as captain Jared Spurgeon has not played yet this regular season. Now, Boldy has been hit by the injury bug. Now the Wild have two big obstacles to overcome to have a strong start to the 2023-24 season.
We will need to wait and see how long Boldy ends up being out from here. Here's to hoping that he has a speedy recovery and can get back into action sooner than expected.
