NHL Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Zack Kassian

Zack Kassian failed to land a contract from the Anaheim Ducks while on his PTO. However, when noting that teams always need forward depth and toughness, he could potentially land a two-way deal. As a result, let’s go over two teams who could consider bringing him in.

San Jose Sharks: The San Jose Sharks could use some help in their bottom six, so they could take a shot on Kassian. He would fit on their fourth line and serve as a valuable protector for their younger players. At worst, he would be a decent 13th forward to have when injuries arise.

Washington Capitals: The Washington Capitals could also benefit from adding a bit more forward depth to their group. Although Kassian wouldn’t be a guarantee for consistent playing time, he would be a decent forward to have around. With that, he would give the Capitals a bit more of the bite they lost when they traded Garnet Hathaway.

We will need to wait and see if either team ends up bringing in Kassian at some point this season from here.
