NHL Rumors: Latest On Jesse Puljujarvi Free-Agent Talk

According to NHL insider Chris Johnston, the interest in free-agent forward Jesse Puljujarvi is "believed to be quite high."

Puljujarvi is one of the most notable free agents still on the market. He has yet to sign with a team because he is recovering from offseason double hip surgery. However, per Johnston, Puljujarvi has been skating in Finland the last few months and is looking to return to action in late November to early December. With this and interest being high for him, a new deal has the potential to occur soon.

Puljujarvi is coming off a down season, but a lot of that can be blamed on his injury trouble. It will be interesting to see if he will have a bounce-back season in 2023-24. He will need to officially land a contract before that can come to fruition, of course.

Alas, look for teams like the San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Seattle Kraken to be among the clubs interested in him from here.
