NHL Rumors: Predators & Sharks Emerging as Trade Candidates

The Nashville Predators are looking to improve their roster, specifically down the middle. The San Jose Sharks, on the other hand, are in a mega rebuild and off to one of the worst starts in NHL history. Due to this, Logan Couture has been picking up a lot of attention in the rumor mill, and Nashville is standing out as a possible landing spot.

The Preds have been looking to improve their center depth since the offseason, even after adding Ryan O'Reilly. It is not a secret that the Predators' forward group a bit weak down the middle, and bringing in a player like Couture would help change that.

Couture would need to improve a move to Nashville for it to happen, as he has a three-team trade list, so he has a ton of say over if and where he would be traded.

The Predators could use a big-time center like Couture, so we will need to wait and see if these two clubs strike a deal centering around him from here.
