Oilers Rumors: 3 Star Players Listed as Possible Trade Targets
In a recent article for The Athletic, Allan Mitchell wrote that the Edmonton Oilers are in a great position to make a blockbuster trade this season as they push for the Stanley Cup. With that, Mitchell noted that Connor Hellebuyck, Brett Pesce, and Travis Konecny could make sense as possible trade targets for them.

If Jack Campbell continues to struggle this season for the Oilers, bringing in a star netminder like Hellebuyck would make sense for Edmonton. He would give them an elite goalie for the playoffs and make them far more difficult to go up against.
Pesce has been a target of the Oilers, and it makes sense. The right side of their defensive group needs a boost, and Pesce would give them just that because of his effective defensive play.
Like Pesce, Konecny was on Edmonton's radar this offseason as well. If Connor Brown does not work out in a top-six role, it would make sense for the Oilers to add Konecny and place him in their top six for their playoff push.
