Seattle Kraken Rumors: Alex Wennberg Becoming Trade Candidate

The Seattle Kraken have had a brutal start to the new season. If these kinds of struggles continue, they will likely be sellers at the deadline. With Alex Wennberg being on an expiring deal, he is starting to emerge as a potential trade candidate because of it.

The Kraken need to pick things up quickly if they hope to replicate last season’s success, but their poor start is making that seem far less likely than before. When noting that Wennberg is a solid middle-six center, there would be a lot of interest in him if officially shopped.

Wennberg, 29, has had a slow start to the season, as he has just one assist in six games played. However, when looking at his resume, he should heat up soon.
