Reports indicate that the Sharks are interested in a trade that would involve acquiring both Mathieu Joseph and a prospect from the Senators.

Last season the 26-year-old scored three goals and 18 total points across 56 games played.

Such a trade could help Ottawa free up essential cap space, addressing their financial concerns while enabling Shane Pinto's contract extension.
