Senators' Thomas Chabot to Miss Several Weeks

The Ottawa Senators have been dealt some bad injury news, as Thomas Chabot will miss the next four to six weeks due to a fractured hand, according to Sens head coach D.J. Smith.
Chabot is one of the Sens' top d-man, so this is far from good news. With that, it does not that Erik

Brannstrom is now injured, while Artem Zub is also still sidelined. Needless to say, the Sens' defensive group has been hit by the injury bug, and Chabot is the latest to follow the trend.

Players like Jakob Chychrun and Jake Sanderson will now be heavily depended on with Chabot and the others out of action. Points at the beginning of the season are crucial to get, and this is especially the case with the Sens being in the immensely deep Atlantic Division.

We will need to wait and see how Chabot's recovery goes from here.  Here's to hoping he has zero setbacks and makes a big impact once he is healthy again.
