Sharks Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Alexander Barabanov

Like everyone expected, the San Jose Sharks are off to a poor start in 2023-24, losing each of their first

five games. They are rebuilding and parted ways with Erik Karlsson this offseason, so this is understandable. Alexander Barabanov is a trade candidate because of this and his expiring deal, so let's look at two clubs that could target him now.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Hurricanes are going to be hunting for more forward depth this trade deadline. Their top nine could use a boost, and bringing in a solid middle-six forward like Barabanov would do just that.

Pittsburgh Penguins: Don't be surprised to see the Penguins make some changes to their roster this season. Their middle six has had some trouble early on in the season, and a player like Barabanov could give a jolt.
