It has been a truly horrendous start to the season for the San Jose Sharks. They are rebuilding, so they were expected to struggle, but they have been the worst team by a significant margin thus far. Due to this, we should see them trade more notable assets this season, and Mario Ferraro could be one of them.

Ferraro is a young defenseman with top-four potential who several teams would love to add. When playing at his best, he is very reliable defensively, chips in offensively, and provides physicality in the process. Due to this, he would be a big addition to a playoff team.

With Ferraro being young and having upside, it would likely cost a team a decent amount to add him. However, if he hits his full potential, it would be worth it.
