St. Louis Blues: Best Addition & Worst Subtraction for 2023 Offseason

The 2023-24 regular season is finally here, much to the delight of hockey fans. Due to this, we here at NHLTR are starting a series going over each team's best addition and worst subtraction of the summer.

In this latest edition of the series, let's focus on the St. Louis Blues.

Best Addition: Kevin Hayes

The Blues made a solid move this offseason, bringing in Kevin Hayes from the Philadelphia Flyers. He is coming off an All-Star season and should be a nice addition to their top nine. When playing at his best, he is a solid point-producer, and the Blues are hoping that he can be just that for them.

Worst Subtraction: Tyler Pitlick

The Blues did not have too many notable subtractions to their group this summer. If somebody had to picked, Tyler Pitlick may be the best choice. He was a decent bottom-six forward for them who kills penalties and provides some grit. However, they also have players who can replace him.
