Tampa Bay Lightning: Best Addition & Worst Subtraction of 2023 Offseason
The 2023-24 regular season is finally here, much to the delight of hockey fans. Due to this, we here at NHLTR are starting a series going over each team's best addition and worst subtraction of the summer.
In this latest edition of the series, let's take a look at the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Best Addition: Conor Sheary
It was a quiet offseason for the Lightning in terms of additions. However, they did add a decent middle-six forward in Conor Sheary. He will provide them with solid secondary scoring and be an option for their power play.
Worst Subtraction: The Lightning had some notable losses this summer, but Alex Killorn is by far their biggest. They lost a legitimate top-six forward and a huge part of their core. It will be hard to replace him, but the Lightning have no choice but to.
