Update Given On Devils Star Nico Hischier

According to Amanda Stein, New Jersey Devils captain Nico Hischier will not be in the lineup for their contest against the Minnesota Wild tomorrow night (Oct. 29) due to an upper-body injury.

Hischier was notably hit in the head by Buffalo Sabres defenseman Connor Clifton during the Devils' last game. The star center would return to the game after the hit but did not play too often following it. Now, we have confirmation that he has an upper-body injury, and the Devils are without one of their top forwards against the Wild because of it.

Hischier has had a bit of a slow start to the new season, posting two goals and a minus-2 rating in seven games. Yet, when noting that he is their best two-way center and a legitimate star when playing at his best, the Devils will certainly miss him while he is out. Here's to hoping that he has a speedy recovery from here.
