Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic Out Long-Term
The Columbus Blue Jackets are going to be without Jack Roslovic for at least 4-6 weeks after the veteran forward broke his ankle over the weekend.
Roslovic was playing in his 400th career game against the New York Rangers on Sunday when the injury occurred. After struggling to find his game since being a part of the Pierre-Luc Dubois trade with the Winnipeg Jets, Roslovic had found his game this season, recording two goals and eight points on the season in 14 games.
The Blue Jackets are back in action on Tuesday against the rival Pittsburgh Penguins. The team has recalled top prospect David Jiricek in the meantime, even though he's a defenseman and Roslovic plays up front.
As for Roslovic, the native of Columbus, Ohio has recorded 73 goals, 125 assists in 400 games after being selected by the Winnipeg Jets 25th overall in 2015. Roslovic has been all over the trade rumors of late, being linked to the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators.
