Blue Jackets Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Yegor Chinakhov

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Yegor Chinakhov is reportedly unhappy with his fourth-line role and is considering requesting a trade because of it. When noting that he is a former first-round pick with good upside, there should be a good market for him if he is officially made available. Let's go over two clubs who could target him.

Chicago Blackhawks: The Chicago Blackhawks could be on the hunt for forward help even after adding Anthony Beauvillier. Taylor Hall is done for the season, while they terminated Corey Perry's contract. Bringing in a young forward like Chinakhov could be a gamble worth taking. He would be a candidate for top-six minutes and could take that next step with the bigger opportunity.

San Jose Sharks: The San Jose Sharks are another rebuilding team in a position to take a look at Chinakhov. Their offense has been disastrous this season, and they have been on the hunt for forwards because of it. Chinakhov would be a good fit for their rebuild, so let's see if they target him.
