Bruins Rumors: Jakub Zboril Becoming Trade Candidate

Jakub Zboril has become the odd man out on the Boston Bruins. After spending last season as an extra defenseman, he has played this entire season in the AHL. Because of this, he is a clear trade candidate this season.

Zboril desperately could use a change of scenery at this juncture. At times, he has shown that he has the potential to be a decent bottom-pairing defenseman, but at this point, there is just no room for him anymore on the Bruins’ roster.

Teams in need of some help on the blue line could consider taking a chance on Zboril. He is a former first-round pick who could improve in a new environment, so it is possible that he finds a new home during this season.

We will now need to wait and see if the Bruins end up trading Zboril from here. Some teams who could target him include the San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, and Anaheim Ducks.
