Canadiens Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Jake Allen

The Montreal Canadiens have a surplus of NHL-caliber goalies, and one is expected to be moved before the deadline passes. Jake Allen is standing out as a big trade target because of it, so here are two potential landing spots for the veteran goalie.

Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers are a clear possible landing spot for Allen. They have been eyeing him for a decent portion of this season, and they desperately need another goalie with Jack Campbell now being in the AHL. Allen would give them more stability in goal as they try to get their season back on track.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Hurricanes are having some trouble in the net due to injury trouble. They recently added Jaroslav Halak on a PTO but have since released him. Thus, they could be looking for another goalie, and Allen would certainly give them a boost.

We will now need to wait and see if Allen ends up being moved to either one of these two teams from here.
