Canadiens Rumors: Tanner Pearson Becoming Trade Candidate

The Montreal Canadiens are struggling mightily as of late, and they are once again looking like the rebuilding team that they are because of it. Due to this, they are very likely to be sellers, and Tanner Pearson is standing out as a prime trade candidate because of it.

Pearson started the season off hot, posting five points in his first five games. Although he has cooled off since, his plethora of experience certainly should lead to teams targeting him this season. With that, he is an effective third-line forward when playing at his best level. Because of this, don’t be surprised if he garners interest later this season.

While the Habs are unable to land a big return for Pearson, they could get a decent draft pick of prospect for him. That is always a good thing for a rebuilding team like the Habs.
