Canucks Place Jack Studnicka On Waivers
The Vancouver Canucks have placed forward Jack Studnicka on waivers.
This is the second time this season where Studnicka has been placed on waivers by the Canucks. He cleared the first time, and the Canucks will be hoping that he does yet again.
The Canucks acquired Studnicka from the Boston Bruins last season. Once a top prospect in Boston's system, Studnicka looked to take that next step as a Canuck. However, he has not been able to at this point of his career. In 47 games last season with Vancouver, he had four goals, four assists, and a minus-11 rating. In five games with the Canucks in 2023-24, he has one goal.
We will need to wait and see if another team ends up taking a chance on Studnicka from here. When noting that he is only 24 years old and injuries are starting to pile up, we should not rule out the possibility.
